Case Summary

Insider has various channels, including email, WhatsApp, App push services, etc., each with its own campaign listing and creation process. These are similar but may have different requirements and actions due to dependencies, variable technical limits, and other inputs.

The creation flow for these channels usually involves segmentation, design, goals, rules, and launch. The design phase has a preview function that lets users see what the end-user will know when the campaign is launched, which is critical to ensuring a healthy message.

During this design process, I analyzed, defined, and documented each product's current structures, identified improvement areas, explored similar solutions, and incorporated partner ideations. After creating a unified experience for all our designers, I produced a handoff file, multiple components, and a presentation to deliver the design successfully.

The Challenge

I created the new, modern look of mobile previews. However, I was not an expert in other products, their needs, or behaviors. Working with multiple people, I had to grasp a deep understanding to produce a usable design.

The Team

As part of the mobile team, I collaborated with two project managers, multiple developers, and one UX researcher to gain insight into our partners' expectations and develop a comprehensive solution.
